I have copd, emphysema, lately I am getting afraid to go anywhere for a long period of time--I get anxiety about having an exacerbation, I do have anxiety medicine but take small doses since it slows

I was diagnosed with COPD a year ago April. I have gone to the ER about five or six times. I had just gotten over a battle with emphysema and now pneumonia. Does it ever get better.
